It is truly a revelation when you begin to understand how "desperately wicked" the heart really is. I think most people don't quite understand this, ( I know i didn't) even after they've "repented". We somehow hold on to the belief that we're really good people at heart. I've gotten mad at God because I don't feel like I've gotten that "heart of flesh" that he promises.
