What is Satan’s weapon? Confusion. But have you ever measured the depth of that confusion? The top-tier lies are made of true statements not being truthfully stated—here is a guide to strip and slay.
In this article:
Strip and Slay

This Friday, we’re gonna strip this lie, one layer after another—

We’ll uncover the very core and the pattern of the Satanic lie.
And you will gain a tangible sense of why Satan was able to deceive one third of the angels. The level of craftiness and evil in his lie is beyond measure.

⚡️Strip and Slay
“You surely will not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:4-5
What is Satan’s weapon? Confusion.
Oh, that’s such a Christian cliché—but do you really know how confusing he can be?
If you examine Satan’s first lie to man, you’d find that:
Everything he said was NOT wrong.
The greatest lies are true statements not stated truthfully.
Disclaimer:
My purpose in breaking down this lie is not to encourage you to reason with Satan—on the contrary, you should NEVER reason with the devil—but to help you recognize him by learning his classic moves, so you won’t even start a conversation with him like Eve did.
Don’t lean your ears to lies.
Don’t allow your eyes to see abominations.
Don’t wander in the streets of sinners.
Don’t cultivate self-control amidst temptations.
🧶How Satan lies—the logic and the style
“You surely will not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:4-5
Let’s break the lie down:
You surely will not die—false by being a half-truth, as it depends on your definition of death that is marked by two dimensions:
Realm dimension: Satan was referring to physical death. God was talking about spiritual death.
Time dimension: Satan spoke of physical death in the present, not in eternity.
Even if you define death in the physical sense, Adam and Eve still will die. Their bodies start dying the moment they eat it—the death already happened in eternity, it’s just not manifested in the present.
Your eyes will be open—true, but it conceals what the eyes will be open to, and “knowing good and evil” is only one thing the eyes are open to—there’re more, which we will discuss in Section 2: Who told you that you were naked?
